We all knew that it was going to happen – the day that Gold Wing motorcycles by Honda stops and the production plant closes. Now of course, last year Honda announced that it was going to happen but finally, they are doing it and closing down their production plant on Marysville, Ohio. We are all going to miss the Honda Gold Wing being made in the United States, however – I think importing these particular motorcycles might be the best course of action.
The weird thing about them closing the plant this year is that this year actually marks the first 50 years of Honda making cars and motorcycles in America – while it might make financial sense to them, it is sort of confusing to us – however, that is neither here nor there because they are going to do it anyway.
We will miss you Gold Wing, but at least we can still expect to purchase these beautiful bikes via dealerships – and importing.

If there is one car that is by far the most anticipated car in the world, it has got to be the Sporty 2011 Honda CR-Z Hybrid. Personally, I have been waiting for Honda to come out with another cool looking hybrid car. I personally love Honda cars, I think that they are built incredible, they look awesome and all around, it is a fantastic investment! However, the fact that they do not have enough choices in the hybrid department is something that I have been waiting for them to expand.
That is why I can not wait for the Sporty 2011 Honda CR-Z Hybrid to come out! This car not only looks really, really friggin’ cool, but I have to say that it is going to be one of the hottest cars on the market as soon as it does come out. Hybrid cars nowadays are becoming increasingly popular and while I know that Honda has the CRX, I think that the CR-Z is going to be much better.
If you are looking for a Honda car that is a hybrid and you can wait a year – just wait for the Sporty 2011 Honda CR-Z Hybrid to come out, it is well-worth the wait!

Last April 30, American automaker Chrysler filed for bankruptcy and had to halt the production of all its plants in North American. Today, with Fiat holding the reigns on the Dodge Viper, the Chrysler plant in Conner Avenue, Michigan has resumed.
According to the bankruptcy documents Chrysler filed last month, the company has only produced 61 units in the Conner Avenue factory this year.
Chrysler spokesperson Max Gates confirmed the resume of production in the Wall Street Journal. The Conner Avenue plant is the bread and butter of approximately 115 employees who manufacture Dodge Viper models designed for both race and city driving.
Some reports detail several plants may also resume its production shortly despite the automaker’s plan to halt the production again on the weeks of July 13 and 20 when the long-established shutdown takes place.

We have all been extremely unsure of the future of the Dodge Viper since last summer – there has been talk of the Viper just being killed and Dodge has also considered selling off the rights to the Viper to any potential buyers. Some of those buyers include Roush and Saleen, however, the dwindling economy has led to just one lowball offer for the rights of this particular car from Michigan-based Devon Motor Works.
Right now, the Viper is not for sale – while the car will still be available for the select buyers that are looking for this car, it is not going to be for sale to the general public and after 2010, Dodge is very uncertain about the life of Dodge Viper, if it is going to live or not.
Personally, I hope that it does because I think that the Viper is one of those cars that is so classic – so beautiful and should not be killed. Hell, if I had enough money – I’d buy the rights!

If there is one car brand in the world that I have absolutely fallen head over the heels for, it has got to be VW. While most people, when they think of Volkswagen just associate this particular brand with the bug, VW has actually come up with quite some creations – like the 2010 VW Golf Variant.
This car, while not out yet, is going to be one of the coolest family cars in the world; everything from the tip of the front bumper all the way to the back bumper is extremely fashionable and all around – I think it looks hot.
The 2010 VW Golf Variant has also been revised from the original 2009 version, with more rear space and a larger luggage compartment, which is available when the rear seats are folded on down. The prices for the 2010 VW Golf Variant is going to start around $20,000 but that is pretty cheap considering the car that you are getting.
