The world of hybrid cars is truly an amazing one and to be perfectly honest, I am one of the people that are so excited at the possibility of driving a car that is fully electric. We are slowly but surely moving toward that point, especially with the much anticipated launch of the Nissan EV Leaf – however, did you hear about the new kid on the block?
Chinese automaker BYD have actually started creating an all-electric car and they plan on releasing it into the states right around the same time as the Nissan Leaf – the BYD e6 Electric MPV is the name.
While this five-seat crossover is the first one to hit the market with a just over $40,000.00, the details on the launch itself are very slim. However, the BYD e6 Electric MPV is going to be limited on availability – so if you want one of these puppies, you are going to have to move fast!

We all know that the Gemballa brand is one brand that is known for taking the Porsche’s latest model and turning it into something different and unique – that is definitely what they have done here with the Gemballa Mistrale. This beautiful car is something that has come out of the all new Porsche Panamera and this particular body kit looks awesome to me. Sport cars are the wave of the future it seems like and the Gemballa Mistrale is absolutely no exception to that rule.
It seems that the hood on the Gemballa Mistrale is somewhat matching to the Porsche version and while there are some differences, there are not a whole lot … seriously. Every time that Porsche comes out with a new car – the Gemballa Mistrale is going to do the same thing it seems like.
The Gemballa Mistrale does look good though … you have to admit that – right? I mean seriously, it’s beautiful!

If there was one thing that the government did not expect, it was the overwhelming response that people had when the Cash for Clunkers program came into play. To be honest, I did not think that we would actually be able to pull it off, however it seems that the auto industry is booming right now and instead of laying off – they are actually having to hire people in order to process the rebates for the Cash for Clunkers program.
If there is one thing that I know about Detroiter’s, it is the fact that if they are owed money, they want it right away – and that is why the transportation department is actually hiring people so that the paperwork can get processed faster. That is the greatest thing in the world … honestly.
So far, about $1.63 billion dollars has gone into this particular program and about 400,000 vouchers have been turned in by dealers, which is amazing!

I like cars I can (theoretically) afford. I also like it if that car does not happen to be a Kia. I have absolutely nothing against Kia, mind you, I am just generally distrustful of anything that affordable, but that’s besides the point.
The real point is the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. Is it the flashiest car on the market? No way, but it is still pretty cute. It gets 35 miles per gallon on the highway and 25 miles per gallon in the city. It is available as a coupe (two door) or a sedan (four door), and there are four trims available.
Three of them — Base, LS, LT — have a 2.2 liter, four cylinder engine with your choice of four speed automatic or five speed manual transition. The SS Turbocharged trim features a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine — turbocharged, of course — with a five speed manual transmission.
More importantly, the MSRP value ranges between $14,990 and $24,535. Awesome, right?

Yes. I have serious beef with the new 2010 Jaguar XF. What’s my beef? I don’t like it. I think it is ugly. Fugly, even. Yeah, I said it. What?
I can’t help it. I get that driving a Jag is a prestige thing — boy do I. I get that the manufacturers are trying to be edgy and innovative by ditching the traditional design. The problem is that, really? They have been stepping farther and farther away from the traditional design for years, and I didn’t like it then, either.
My dream is to have a Jaguar. But I tell you what, if I ever get that kind of cash, I will be going old school. I do not give a spit for all the new features. I want that sleek, ostentatious hood ornament. I want that chic design. I want to drive around like Sebastian in Cruel Intentions, darn it!
You can have this monstrosity, man, I don’t want it.

Let it now and forever be known that I fell in love with the very first launch of the Mitsubishi Eclipse. I did not think it could get any better than that … and then the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder premiered, and I knew that I had found a new true love.
My feelings have not changed with what I have thus far seen of the 2010 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. Is this car sporty? Check. Is it fun to drive? Double check. Does it cost what you would expect such a fun, sporty, open air vehicle to cost? Negative, good buddy. Big negative. With an MSRP value ranging between $27,799 and $32,599, the dream is actually within reach.
Just look at the specs, man. This roadster has four seats, two doors, and is inspired by the Eclipse coupe. You can choose between two trim styles and the standard features are awesome.

When you are looking for a car – your first thought probably does not go out to a car that has been around for a while right? Well, mind does and that I why I just had to let you know about this beautiful and classic Rolls-Royce. This car is currently tucked away in India and while I know that I will never actually get to see it up close, I just thought that you guys should see a car that is not only beautiful – but is classic.
The Rolls-Royce is a 1934 car and it is actually a Phantom II 40/50 HP. While it might not go from 0 to 100 very fast, it is a classic car that is beautiful to look at. While I think that fourteen million dollars is a little more than I’d like to ever spend on a car … the Rolls-Royce is a car that is so worth it!
So if you are looking for a car that is going to be beautiful to ride around in but a car that will cost you a pretty penny to own – the Rolls-Royce is the car for you!
