Acura announced to the public last year that they will be offering a manual Acura TL for its 2010 release. The public can now get a taste of the Acura TL with an option for a self shifter with six speeds going side by side with the five-speed Sequential Sportshift automatic of the 2009 TL. The sticker price for the all wheel drive TL SH starts at $42,385.
The new manual gear box gets stronger architecture and better engineering compared to its older siblings. Aside from the tougher aluminum casing and rigid internals, the gearbox is equipped with specially designed synchronizers to make transmission smoother. The clutch also gets a new build to blend well with the natural strong torque of the V-6 3.7L power train.
The Acura TL 3.7L variant boasts of 305 horsepower and an torque of about 275 lb-ft. The 3.5L model outputs 280 horsepower with a 254 lb-ft torque.
The manual transmission model uses bushings to make sure that the transmission and the engine is very stable during high rev driving. The car also gets 1% improvement on weight distribution with a 58/42 ratio compared to the 59/41 of the automatic model. The better ration may be attributed to the 110 lbs shaved off from its curb weight compared to the 5-speed automatic release.

Now – The Fiat Punto Evo is a car that is supposed to look almost like a Maserati in a hatchback form, however – the Italian automaker actually updated the Fiat Punto Evo and they wanted it to be a surprise for the public. To me – this is exactly the makeover that was needed, for it will definitely put Fiat back on the map.
Visually, the Fiat Punto Evo has all sorts of new things! New bumpers, new lights front and rear, a brand new grille and a handful of little and modern touches that truly does make this beautiful car look amazing and feel very – very good.
Although, the Fiat Punto Evo hardly ranks among the many European hatchbacks, I think that this little car is definitely on its way of making it in the rankings!

While I know that there are a hell of a lot of crossover vehicles out there right now, to me, the Hyundai Tucson ix35 is by far the best one. Not only does it look good on the road, but at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it was definitely in the spotlight and it owned it! While most people think that the Hyundai Tucson ix35 looks like every other crossover vehicle, to me – it looks different.
I think that the lines looks cleaner and crisper and I think that overall, the Hyundai Tucson ix35 is going to make an impact. The new Hyundai Tucson ix35 – right now is being offered up with a 2.0L engine and a six-speed automatic slushbox.
If you are looking for a brand new crossover – the Hyundai Tucson ix35 is definitely the car for you!

So let’s talk about 2010 Volkswagen Phaeton. This is a car that while many people think that it is not all that great – we think that it is pretty damn cool. To me, the 2010 Volkswagen Phaeton is Volkswagen’s version of a luxury sedan and to me – that is what they needed in order to break out of their ‘beetle’ mold.
Everything thinks that VW is a brand that is very fun and flirty and while for the most part … they are, what about the serious business people? Well, that is exactly what the 2010 Volkswagen Phaeton was designed for. In my personal opinion of course. While at first – the Volkswagen Phaeton caused quite a few problems in the states, now everything has evened out.
You want a serious car? The 2010 Volkswagen Phaeton – is going to be it for you!

The European division of Ford recently released the very first, official pictures of this little beauty, called the Ford C-MAX. It is scheduled to make a worldwide debut this year at the IAA, which takes place in Frankfurt, Germany.
Design wise, its cues are taken from the Iosis Max, a concept car which was revealed at the motor show in Geneva earlier this year. However, the C-MAX promises to bring more in the way of style and desirability, especially when it comes to compact, multi activity vehicles.
It is anticipated that the Ford C-MAX will ultimately be launched during the second half of next year. It is also to be the first of a new generation which will feature vehicles that have been developed from the brand new C segment platform.

I have to be honest, Reva is another company with which I am not all that familiar. Specifically the Reva Electric Car Company, it has recently released some information about two vehicles it will be revealing soon in Frankfurt, Germany.
One model is the Reva NXR, which you can see here. It is a hatchback with three doors and capacity for four seats. It is mainly designed for driving in urban environment. If everything goes according to schedule, then production will begin at the start of next year.
Reva is based in Bangalore. It is a joint venture existing between AEV LLC out of California and the Maini Group, based in India.
I really like the look of this car, especially in the picture provided here, and I hope it makes its way to the market as soon as it safely can.

Just recently, McLaren finally revealed the brand new MP4-12C, which will be the first in a whole series of high performance sports cars which will be unveiled in upcoming years.
It features a mid engine and has two seats — and it also happens to follow a lot of the principles used in Formula 1 cars. In other words, everything on or in the car is there for a good reason. From weight saving to aerodynamics, there is a reason for the design, the lines, the surfaces, and even all the details. The chassis is a single piece made of carbon fiber, called a Carbon MonoCell by the company itself.
One thing is for sure, this car will take you as close to flying as you can get with four wheels, and it will certainly be a big seller for the boys who can afford very expensive toys.

Finally, it has been confirmed that while there are going to be some stand-alone dealerships, Buick and GMC are not going to be apart of that particular crowd. Most of the time, GMC is only known for their trucks and while GM should not exactly keep this particular brand around – they want to and they are going to team it up with Buick. Every dealership you see come October, 2010 is going to be Buick-GMC, no more stand-alone.
Personally, I think this is the smartest thing that they can do. Consolidating every dealership is smart, hell, from a customer’s point of view, they should be able to go to one place to buy everything and that is just the way it should be … while logically, I know that is not going to happen, if GM has a bunch of brands under their wing, just smush them together and the customers will be happy.
On a side note – you want anymore Pontiacs, you better get your butt in gear because the prices have been slashed and they are selling!

Dunkel industries are a company that I have never … ever heard of. In all my years of blogging for cars, I do not think that they have ever crossed my mind but now – they are certainly crossing my head. This is a truck … an RV that tops all RVs. This is the Luxury 4×4 that is not only in charge of every lane that it happens to be in, but this is an RV that is serious. You want bigger, you want better? This is the friggin’ truck for you!
This is a truck that is so big that half of the time you can not get into it! This is one true off-road vehicle and to be honest, that is exactly what they created it for. Dunkel is under the impression that there is no trail that this particular ORV can not handle and that is why they wanted it so big and fierce!
So if you – if you are looking for a truck that is going to handle everything you throw at it. This is the truck for you, I can promise you that!
