As you can already see, Geneva is going to be chock full of new concept vehicles, and Peugeot, the French manufacturer, has yet one more concept to show there in March.
The concept is known thus far as the 5 by Peugeot, which in my humble opinion is a rather edgy and evocative name. It is the automaker’s second show car and it is going to be debuted right beside the strongly anticipated SR1.
Peugeot is set to show what they have in mind for the future with both concepts, especially their future in the segment devoted to larger luxury automobiles. The 5 has elegantly simplistic lines as well as subtler details on the technical side of things.

Sleek. Fast. Luxurious. Those are just a few of the adjectives used to described the leaked pictures of the Pandion concept created by none other than Stile Bertone.
You might recognize certain facets of the concept, considering that it is based around the notoriously gorgeous 8C Competizione, from Alfa. Called a “2+2″ seater, the name comes from a king of Greek myth; it is set to be unveiled next month in Geneva, at the annual motor show.
Pininfarina is a rival for Pandion and they, too, based a concept around an Alfa Romeo design — which will also be revealed in Geneva. Bertone’s concept, too, is a celebration for Alfa’s one hundredth birthday.

You seriously haven’t seen anything until you have seen the new Opel Flextreme GT/E concept. Open plans to reveal this extended range concept next month at the motor show in Geneva.
The Flextreme GT/E’s body is totally aerodynamic, and as such, it is meant to point to the direction the brand wants to take with its design aesthetic in the future.
Up to this point, GM has showed only the most fleeting teases and sketches of the new concept, which has five doors and LED lamps shaped like wings.
The cabin is a four seater and it can be accessed through light sensors, which actually take the place of any door handles.

It has to be said that Honda is coming out with some hot, hot, hot things right now and honestly, I am so looking forward to the brand new 2011 Honda Odyssey. This particular car is a concept right now but it is one of those cars that I think is going to make the market that much better.
Right now, the Honda Odyssey is selling millions but when the brand new 2011 Honda Odyssey comes out, that number is going to skyrocket itself. The changes? Well, they have lowered it a full inch, have tweaked some of the features on the inside and overall, made this particular car all around sleeker.
If you want a car that is awesome – the brand new 2011 Honda Odyssey is definitely it.

I am not normally a fan of Cadillac models in general, so upon finding one that I do really like — the Cadillac CTS Coupe — I decided that it was more than deserving of an on the spot review. I.E., just my personal opinions here. Of course, it is worth it to first look at some of the specs of this concept.
It definitely looks forward, straight to the future, and Cadillac has been known to call it a celebration of the brand’s heritage of design.
The reason I like the Cadillac CTS Coupe concept so much is actually because it does not really look like a Cadillac. Because, to me, the very word Cadillac speaks of something large and a little hoopty. This definitely does not.
There is something sleek about it, something deliciously compact that could almost make a convert out of me.

Every so often — as you shall see — I like to back and check out some of my favorite concepts over the last couple of years. The Honda Pilot concept was one of my faves, because I do so like boxy looking vehicles. It is a quirk of mine, but what can I say? It would be a boring world if none of us had quirks.
This vehicle was scheduled to come out in spring of 2008. The refinement was entirely integrated, along with its packaging attributes. The whole idea behind the prototype was capability and utility running side by side with style in an SUV design.
Good deal! It was one of the most well done concepts for the new classification of small SUVs — or so said its many fans at Detroit’s Spring 2008 motor show.

If you are one of the few people that has never, ever been to the Detroit Auto Show in January, you need to make sure that you make an appearance at this years. While I know the hotels are filling up quickly, I can tell you that this show is going to be filled with tons of political VIPs this year, as GM and Chrysler are required a combine $80 billion dollars in government assistance.
The 2010 is a fantastic way for the government to keep an eye on its investment and I can tell you that, that is exactly what they are going to do. There are going to be a ton of different government agents there and I think that is fantastic.
It is about time that the government got involved in the automakers money and dealing with them. However … if someone from the government takes my ticket for this great show, I’m going to get pissed!

Michigan has always held a special place in my heart – it is my home state and Detroit … while not my home city; it is certainly a special place. So when I read in The Detroit News that GM has gone on the record stating that without the state tax credits, they would have to pull out of the skyline and actually move to the suburbs and surrounding areas.
Now, I have to tell you that this particular building in huge. I have been inside of it and have actually stayed at the Marriott there and the number of jobs that would be lost is incredible. Basically – GM needs to have 2,500 employees working and pay out about $60 million dollars in order to qualify for the incentives and tax breaks.
Do I think that is going to happen? Well, if anyone can do it, GM can and I think that they will.

I feel like we have talked about the Hummer HX Concept before – I feel that I have spoken about this particular SUV over and over again … ah, I know what it is – it is a reflection of the last post I did! Hummer is known for their rugged SUV’s and I have to say that this particular concept SUV has been in limbo since GM announced it.
The first thing that they are trying to do before actually building the Hummer HX Concept is to arrest all of the free-fall of hummer sales. Right now … the Hummer sale are down about 64% to be exact and while sales are looking up in 2010 … that is not right now.
While the Hummer HX Concept is certainly a cool looking Hummer, it is at the bottom of the list right now.

Oh the Hummer – what have you done to yourself? What happened to the days where the Hummer could go through the water, go through anything really and honestly … I miss the days when the Hummer was strictly an army vehicle and nothing more. However – I do have to report on the brand new 2010 Hummer H3 for you guys.
Firstly, let’s go ahead and clear something up about Hummers right now. They are not actually worse for the environment – they are on par with any other SUV, which is something that many people have no idea about. For example, the 2010 Hummer H3 is no worse for the environment than any other SUV out there.
However, they are switching up the 2010 Hummer H3 to make it more eco-friendly … those specs haven’t been released just yet though.
