If you are anything like me, you are constantly looking for the latest from BMW.  Well folks, we definitely have the latest and greatest news from BMW and I can tell you for sure that this particular car is going to be awesome.  It is the brand new 2011 BMW 6 Series and it is certainly one car that is making waves.

Even with the canvas over it, I can tell you for sure that this particular car is going to change the market a little bit.  The 2011 BMW 6 Series actually made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and still – people are talking about it.

If you want a good car with a fantastic name attached to it, the 2011 BMW 6 Series is definitely the car for you!

Although the way you drive in the snow is very, very important, you want to make sure that you are paying attention to the other drivers as well.  That is what we are going to concentrate on this particular blog.  First, you want to make sure that you are extremely careful on the bridges, as they hold most ice.

You also want to make sure that you are careful on overpasses as well as roads that are not traveled all that often, as those roads can hold more snow and ice than any other roads.

Finally, you want to make sure that you do not pass by any snow plows or sanding trucks, as the drivers have very limited visibility and they can actually hit you without actually knowing.

Now that we have talked about your speed — let’s go ahead and move onto how you should stop when it is snowy out.  One thing that I do in order to stop myself from skidding all over the place is pumping my brakes.  Just braking extremely gently can actually make all of the difference.

You also want to make sure that you have your lights on, that way any other drivers can see exactly where you are.  If you are driving in a manual car, you want to make sure that you use low gears – that way you will keep the traction that you have.

Do not ever use cruise control when you are driving in the snow, as it can actually make you hit bad spots versus avoiding them.

It is wintertime people and since I have moved from one snowy state to another, I have found that there are quite a few rules that you need to follow when you are looking to drive in the snow.  That is what we are going to talk about in the next few blogs, how you can make sure that you get to your destination safe and how you can avoid getting in a car accident.

One of the first things that you want to do is slow down.  While I know that slowing down is extremely difficult sometimes, you want to make sure that you allow at least three times more space than usual in order to allow stopping time.  This will ensure that you will not rear-end someone.

I am not normally a fan of Cadillac models in general, so upon finding one that I do really like — the Cadillac CTS Coupe — I decided that it was more than deserving of an on the spot review. I.E., just my personal opinions here. Of course, it is worth it to first look at some of the specs of this concept.

It definitely looks forward, straight to the future, and Cadillac has been known to call it a celebration of the brand’s heritage of design.

The reason I like the Cadillac CTS Coupe concept so much is actually because it does not really look like a Cadillac.  Because, to me, the very word Cadillac speaks of something large and a little hoopty.  This definitely does not.

There is something sleek about it, something deliciously compact that could almost make a convert out of me.

The Toyota Venza is classified as a crossover sedan, and its official debut came at the Detroit Auto Show of 2008. Given the current economy, it is always a good idea to look at cars that are a couple of years older when you are in the market for a new one. Financing and all can be such a mess, sometimes older is definitely better.

Now, the Venza is extremely sleek, with enviable exterior styling. The interior is just as refined and the utility features have been described as being absolutely outstanding. The target audience? Those with very active lifestyles, of course.

The vehicle was mostly engineered down home in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that charming, slightly bohemian college town, in the Toyota Technical Center.

Every so often — as you shall see — I like to back and check out some of my favorite concepts over the last couple of years. The Honda Pilot concept was one of my faves, because I do so like boxy looking vehicles. It is a quirk of mine, but what can I say? It would be a boring world if none of us had quirks.

This vehicle was scheduled to come out in spring of 2008. The refinement was entirely integrated, along with its packaging attributes. The whole idea behind the prototype was capability and utility running side by side with style in an SUV design.

Good deal! It was one of the most well done concepts for the new classification of small SUVs — or so said its many fans at Detroit’s Spring 2008 motor show.

Alright, so now that we have touched on just a few of the dangers that come with texting and driving, I want to tell you exactly how it can affect your driving skills.  As we mentioned before, it will not only split your concentration in two, but if you concentrate a little too much on texting, it is really easy to get into a car crash.

Limiting your distractions will not only help with your driving, but it is something that will ensure that you will be completely focused on your driving.  That will in turn, make sure that your driving is completely up to snuff.

So now that you know the dangers of texting and driving, just make sure that you pull over if you absolutely need to use your cell phone.
