The 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt: Surprisingly Affordable
I like cars I can (theoretically) afford. I also like it if that car does not happen to be a Kia. I have absolutely nothing against Kia, mind you, I am just generally distrustful of anything that affordable, but that’s besides the point.
The real point is the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. Is it the flashiest car on the market? No way, but it is still pretty cute. It gets 35 miles per gallon on the highway and 25 miles per gallon in the city. It is available as a coupe (two door) or a sedan (four door), and there are four trims available.
Three of them — Base, LS, LT — have a 2.2 liter, four cylinder engine with your choice of four speed automatic or five speed manual transition. The SS Turbocharged trim features a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine — turbocharged, of course — with a five speed manual transmission.
More importantly, the MSRP value ranges between $14,990 and $24,535. Awesome, right?
