U.S. Prepares to Greet the Ford Fiesta
It has been a very, very … very, very long time since the big wigs — Ford, Chrysler, General Motors — have made a small car that actually, you know … looks attractive, and like you would actually want to drive it anywhere … and be seen in it. As it so happens, however, Fresh Car News has some … well, as a matter of fact, we have some fresh car news.
The Ford Motor Company is finally following up the success it had with the Ford Focus, which was first introduced in 2000. Nine years is a long time to wait, but the 2011 Ford Fiesta promises to end the dry spell — even though it sadly is not quite the Euro-Spec Focus.
This is rather disgruntling, since in 2005, the Focus which was revised for Europe was way nicer than the version we got stateside. But still.
With the Fiesta, we are getting a compact car with five doors — it somehow manages to be both big and little at the same time. The question is, will the car be worth it?
